Let's start with one Tier to get warmed up!
This weekend has been great! I went over the budget this morning and we're already 1k away from our first goal! So here's what we got for you!
More Art!
Our art team is waiting and firing up their drawing tablets to deliver some of their finest work to date! Every tier from here on out is going to give us a little bit more funds to deliver the most kick ass pieces we can dream up!
Tables, Chairs, and Loveseats and maybe a few other things to slam your enemy's into!
Ewen Cluney, one of my earliest influences has joined the team to lend a hand at concocting dozens of options for your characters to utilize to smash their way to victory! Need some ideas for what might be in that bar to break over someone's head? Don't just stop at a beer bottle? Why not take the owner's 100 year old gold label scotch? Ewen's prepared to deliver this and more instruments of stylized chaos for you, our lovely backers today!
Add your own style to the game. Introducing Grooves!
Tide Breaker wouldn't be what it was today without years of homebrewing and hacking other systems. I've learned quite a bit from the study of other designers and two of my favorites are going to join me in writing up some modifications that we like to call Grooves! In lieu of a full system overhaul, Grooves serve to make small, but high impact changes to Tide Breaker's core mechanics. By altering, removing, or adding to the existing content, you can do a lot to change the feel of a game. Grooves use these techniques to change Tide Breaker to be better suited for more specific genre emulation. You want more of a Hong Kong bullet ballet style game? Try Lead Breaker to increase the damage ranged attacks deal while increasing defense bonuses received for stylish diving through hails of bullets and returning fire on your foes!
